Donate to our Annual Fund today!

Thank you for your interest in Joyfully Engaged Learning where our vision is to increase the number of affordable, high-quality early learning seats in all 75 counties of Arkansas through the achievement and maintenance of accreditation with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

We hope you'll choose to support our work in two ways - donating to our annual fund and spreading the word.

More About NAEYC

nearly twice as many children from NAEYC-accredited programs were rated as ‘proficient’ or school readycompared to students attending other programs

The National Association for the Education of Young Children has long been the national voice for early childhood education. The evidence is clear - programs that are NAEYC Accredited have teaching staff that are more highly trained, have higher levels of education, and have less turnover. And this means the best possible start for our youngest students.

Children who are enrolled in NAEYC-Accredited schools perform better on cognitive, language, and social competency measures and are better prepared for kindergarten. In fact, nearly twice as many children from NAEYC-accredited programs “were rated as ‘proficient’ or school ready” compared to students attending other programs.

So we hope you'll support the work of Joyfully Engaged with a donation and by spreading the word.

Thank you!

Meet Our Director

All children everywhere deserve a high-quality education

Leigh has worked in early education for over 20 years and is currently serving on the State Board of Education. After successfully leading her school through NAEYC Accreditation, she realized the need for an organization in Arkansas to help other schools earn the same elite credentials. Prior to the creation of Joyfully Engaged, Arkansas was one of only 5 states without such an organization. Arkansas currently only has 13 NAEYC Accredited schools putting us 49th in the nation. Leigh aims to improve this through her work at Joyfully Engaged.
